Uploading NIH-funded papers to PubMed Central

To support compliance with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) public access policy, IOP Publishing will upload NIH-funded articles published on an open access basis to PubMed Central automatically. 

Please make sure to include details of your funder, including the grant number, when requested to do so during the submission process.. 

The corresponding author will receive an email from PubMed Central asking them to approve the deposited manuscript. 

Deposited articles will be made publicly available from the date of online publication in accordance with the NIH policy. 

Our policy on article sharing does not permit immediate public access via institutional or subject repositories, including PubMed Central, for articles published on a subscription basis.
