Scientific leadership of Environmental Research: Energy is provided by the Editor-in-Chief and will be supported by an Editorial Board with broad scientific and geographical distribution.
The Editorial Board includes prominent researchers and emerging leaders in the field, supporting the Editor-in-Chief and in-house editorial team in the rapid peer review of author manuscripts and identifying emerging hot topics.
Environmental Research: Energy also has an advisory panel.

Publisher: Sophie Caldwell
As Publisher, Sophie Caldwell is responsible for leading the publishing and content development strategy for Environmental Research: Energy in close collaboration with the Editorial Board to ensure that the journal fully represents the subject field and the needs of the research community it serves. Sophie holds a Masters in Publishing Studies and has been working in the academic publishing landscape for five years, gaining experience in supporting journals from launch and working across sustainability science and energy communities.
Editor: Freddie Taylor
As Editor, Freddie Taylor manages the peer review process on Environmental Research: Energy, supported by the Editorial Board. The Editor ensures all submissions receive a fair and timely assessment, processing scientific recommendations on articles as provided by the Editorial Board and independent expert peer reviewers in accordance with research integrity standards. Freddie Taylor has six years editorial experience working as Associate Editor and then Editor on IOP Publishing’s environmental science journals, including flagship journal Environmental Research Letters. Freddie also holds a Masters in Chemistry.
