Publisher: Bethan Phillips
As Publisher, Bethan Phillips is responsible for leading the publishing and content development strategy for Environmental Research: Food Systems in close collaboration with the Editorial Board to ensure that the journal fully represents the subject field and the needs of the research community it serves. Bethan holds a MESci in Earth Sciences and a PhD in Geosciences. She joined the Geological Society in 2017 as a Publishing Assistant before being promoted to Commissioning Editor for the Geological Society’s book series where she was responsible for commissioning new titles and coordinating the peer review. She then joined Bioscientifica as a Publisher in 2021, overseeing the strategy and development for several journals, before joining IOP Publishing in 2023, where her focus has been the launch and ongoing management of several new Environmental Research journals.
Editor: Freddie Taylor
As Editor, Freddie Taylor manages the peer review process on Environmental Research: Energy, supported by the Editorial Board. The Editor ensures all submissions receive a fair and timely assessment, processing scientific recommendations on articles as provided by the Editorial Board and independent expert peer reviewers in accordance with research integrity standards. Freddie Taylor has six years editorial experience working as Associate Editor and then Editor on IOP Publishing’s environmental science journals, including flagship journal Environmental Research Letters. Freddie also holds a Masters in Chemistry.
