New Journal of Physics: 2017 Reviewer Awards
Reviewer of the Year: Dr Michał Karpiński, Uniwersytet Warszawski, Poland
The award was a genuine surprise to me, since I am making only a very small contribution to NJP. While reviewing I try to help the authors in improving their papers. I encourage drawing proper conclusions from experimental data, including proper uncertainty analysis, which is often neglected. I also make sure there are enough technical details provided to make the work replicable.
