Does IOP Publishing support green open access?

Yes, in some circumstances. When an article is published on a subscription basis, we grant back certain rights to authors. This generally allows authors to post the Accepted Manuscript of the article to an institutional repository or subject-based repository after a 12 month embargo period. This route may not be compatible with some funder policies on immediate open access. 

The gold open access route is available to authors wishing to make their accepted manuscript version or final version of record immediately open access.
